Tanya Lecchi is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at The University of Northampton (UK) and she also is the Clinical Research Tutor for the Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice MSc at the Anna Freud National Center for Children and Family, London (UK).

She is a clinical researcher as well as a cognitive-relational psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher.

She has experience of providing psychological assessment and treatment to adults, families, children and young people in different care settings, including hospital environment and private practice. She is a senior university lecturer and she is involved in several international research projects. Her main interests include the use of relational mindfulness practices with psychotherapy trainees, developmental trauma, early interventions in psychosis, the therapeutic relationship, attachment, and developmental psychopathology.
